Think summer camp meets yoga festival….welcome to our Zen Life Florida Retreat!

We will be nestled into our own private sanctuary surrounded by lush greenery and environmentally conscious facilities along the St. Sebastian River one hour south of Orlando, FL.

ChoZen’s spacious grounds offer the perfect backdrop for yoga and meditation, while the fitness & spa amenities cater to all levels of fitness enthusiasts. Explore your creativity in inspiring workshops and find relaxation and renewal in the infrared sauna and cold plunge pool.

We are bringing together experts in multiple areas of well-being, ensuring a well-rounded retreat that nourishes the mind, body, and spirit in harmony with the natural environment.

On our retreat, every day will bring a new experience whether energizing with a morning cold plunge session, getting inspired with a powerful yoga class, having a transformational breathwork session or exploring the natural beauty of the river and surrounding forest. Our intimate setting and incredible guides and teachers will help us create a sense of community and lasting connections with your fellow travelers and yoga teachers.

ChoZen is located on Florida’s East Central Coast just 75 miles from Orlando International Airport, 90 miles from Palm Beach International and 180 miles from Miami International Airport.

 

How To Get There:

Flying?   You will fly into Orlando International Airport (MCO) and rent a car or share an Uber to our sanctuary.
We will connect the group to coordinate shared rides!

Driving?   The exact address will be given to registered participants. Our sanctuary is about an hour and 10 minute drive south of the Orlando Airport.

-4+ daily yoga & movement experiences led by our team of instructors.
-3 farm-to-table meals per day

Meet Your Instructors

Martha McAlpine Ed. M

Teacher of kundalini yoga, body energetics, and mindset. Martha will be offering daily Kundalini classes, meditation, yoga nidra sessions in the afternoons, and sauna + plunge journeys with breath work, essential oils, and acupoints.

Martha’s classes are a blend of physical rigor, energetic activation, and applicable philosophy. She combines a graduate degree in experiential education design from Harvard with Tantric teacher training primarily from Yogarupa Rod Stryker and Kia Miller. She is known for a transmission of deep joy in her work and a yoga practice that has served her life enormously for over 30 years.

Amy Hutchinson

Spiritual wellness coach, person trainer and breathwork guide. Amy is a spritual wellness coach with a passion of helping others thrive and transform. She is a breathwork facilitator and sound healer. Her fitness studio, Sacred Strength, is in Atlanta, Georgia and she creates a unique blend of strength workouts with spiritual practices. Her sessions are sure to inspire and TRANSFORM you!

Jessie Benson

Yoga and fitness instructor, founder of FloYo.  Jessie has been curating wellness experiences for over 15 years in Baltimore and beyond. Jessie teaches a variety of fitness classes including yoga, spin, bootcamp, pilates and paddle boarding. She has led over 30 international wellness retreats and has experience leading corporate wellness events, large scale yoga classes at festivals such as Wanderlust and the Asheville Yoga Festival and also teaches locally at several boutique fitness and yoga studios. Her creative and intentional vinyasa yoga sequences will leave you feeling strong, grounded, present and inspired!

On this retreat she will offer energizing morning vinyasa yoga classes as well as peaceful paddle experiences on the river. Her signature FloYo classes involve SUP sun salutations as well as unique floating meditations.

Dr. Tania Pritz

Tania teaches yoga in Coastal Delaware as well as Charleston, SC. She teaches the jivamukti style of yoga, which incorporates pranayama, chanting and spiritual teaching in addition to the asana. Tania is also a chiropractor and her extensive background in coaching clients to health and wellness along with her anatomical knowledge makes her classes unique, inspiring and powerful.
